This design is representative of Sexual Abuse. It can happen to absolutely anyone, at any time. It affects hundreds of thousands of people a year. The flower is representative of an individual and their innocence. The hand being the forceful removal from the individual that has wrongfully changed their life forever. The downward lines on the rose representing the weight of the experience and never really feeling “clean”, many recount after the trauma. The scribbled in leaves describe how one tries to fill the emotional holes left by such trauma, usually quickly and in a way that isn't healthy.
